Campfire Subs

Everyone loves a toasted sandwich. It’s a family favourite that is quick, simple and most importantly delicious! Simply get your toppings, such as ham, cheese, tomato, pineapple and pile them onto your bread. Wrap the sandwich in alfoil, pop it on the coal for 15 mins and that’s it, you’re done.

With only four ingredients, this delicious treat will take you near no time to make and will have the kids (and adults) wanting more! Camping is all about spending quality time with your loved ones. Give mum a break and get the kids involved in the kitchen with this healthy, fun and fresh meal. Kebabs are a well-known family staple and allows the kids to create their very own unique recipe. What’s better than freshly grilled pineapple, chicken and/or capsicum? Embrace everything the campfire has to offer to make your dinner that little bit better! So chop up some left over veggies, your choice of meat and top with cheese before roasting on the camp fire. To keep the cooking process kid safe, check out the folding grill for simple cooking ease.
